United Utilities has named nine contractors to deliver its new reservoir maintenance and ground improvement framework covering AMP8 and AMP9.<\/p>\n

The long-term deal will see AE Yates, Stonbury, JVT Construction, Cleantech Civils, Bethell Construction and Askam Civil Engineering carry out an \u00a380m programme of improvement and maintenance works on reservoir assets across the North West.<\/p>\n

Specialist ground engineering packages worth in total \u00a3125m have been awarded to Bachy Soletanche, Kier Integrated Services and Bethell Construction, which secured places on both lots.<\/p>\n

Projects will typically range from \u00a35,000 to \u00a36m in value, covering tasks such as valve tower access works, conduit repairs, wavewall construction, grouting, piling and geotechnical stabilisation to improve safety and resilience.<\/p>\n

The framework supports United Utilities\u2019 capital programme to meet regulatory commitments and prepare for rising investment in its AMP8 and AMP9 periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
