{"id":8612,"date":"2025-10-22T08:46:33","date_gmt":"2025-10-22T08:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=8612"},"modified":"2025-10-22T08:46:33","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T08:46:33","slug":"lhc-starts-race-for-1-85bn-uk-construction-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/lhc-starts-race-for-1-85bn-uk-construction-framework\/","title":{"rendered":"LHC starts race for \u00a31.85bn UK construction framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LHC Procurement Group has kicked off the race for places on its next-generation Public Buildings Construction and Infrastructure Frameworks.<\/p>\n<p>Around 47 firms including big name players like BAM, Kier, Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall, Vinci and Willmott Dixon as well as regional players like Esh and Britcon now face a fight to retain their places.<\/p>\n<p>The clutch of three frameworks spanning works in England, Wales and Scotland promise work pipelines worth up to \u00a31.85bn combined.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"500482\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsolatube.co.uk%2Fcommercial%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sola Systems Display Button (300 x 250 px) (3).gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The framework will replace current regional agreements and cover everything from new builds and listed refurbishments to civil infrastructure, demolition, and hard FM.<\/p>\n<p>It will run for five years from April 2026, with a possible one-year extension.<\/p>\n<p>Procurement is being run through LHC\u2019s regional hubs \u2014 SPA in Scotland, WPA in Wales, and LHC in England \u2014 under three parallel tenders, each mirroring a 10-lot structure covering values from under \u00a31m to over \u00a325m.<\/p>\n<p>The new PB4 framework will support a wide mix of public sector clients including councils, NHS trusts, blue-light services, defence estates, and schools.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"128950\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jctltd.co.uk%2Fnetwork-signup\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/JCT-Network_ConstructionEnq_MPU_300x250px-2025.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>It will also allow both traditional and modern construction methods, including MMC Category 2 framed and panelised systems.<\/p>\n<p>LHC said the framework is being shaped by continuous consultation and feedback from public sector partners to ensure alignment with local priorities such as decarbonisation, community benefits and SME access.<\/p>\n<p>Tender deadlines are set for 9 December 2025, with contract awards expected by April 2026.<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;
