Precast concrete specialist FP McCann has secured Gateway 2 approval for Prosperity Developments’ Smithfield Plot 1 project in Birmingham’s Digbeth district.<\/p>\n

The green light from the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) paves the way for construction to start next April on the 22-storey residential tower.<\/p>\n

FP McCann willl be in charge of the whole design, manufacture, and installation of the precast concrete frame on the \u00a3130m scheme with Prosperity acting as the management contractor.<\/p>\n

The development will deliver 305 modern apartments with commercial space at ground level.<\/p>\n

The project is targeted for completion in Q4 2027, with submission to Gateway 3 planned and an occupation target of Q1 2028.<\/p>\n
