Skanska UK has launched its second boardroom reshuffle in less than a year as infrastructure and HS2 boss Andrew English leaves the business.<\/p>\n

English returned to Skanska in March 2024 to lead the infrastructure division and became an executive vice president in the last reshuffle last December.<\/p>\n

He is now leaving to pursue another opportunity.<\/p>\n

The infrastructure business will temporarily be led by Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Adam McDonald before Executive Vice President Terry Muckian takes over in the long term.<\/p>\n

Muckian leads the Building operating unit and the phased approach is planned to “minimise disruption for both our customers and employees while a successor is recruited”.<\/p>\n

The latest reshuffle sees Dan Williams promoted to Executive Vice President, Building Services, reporting to President & CEO Katy Dowding.<\/p>\n

Williams will have full responsibility for Skanska\u2019s Building Services operating unit which includes the Skanska Rashleigh Weatherfoil (SRW) mechanical and electrical engineering business and the company\u2019s facilities management operation.<\/p>\n

He has steadily risen through the ranks since joining Skanska from college as a student engineer.<\/p>\n

Dowding said: “Dan\u2019s deep knowledge and strong relationships with customers in MEP and facilities management will bring valuable insight to our executive management team.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s passionate about delivering great service and real value. This appointment shows how we nurture talent and support career growth from within the business.”<\/p>\n

In addition to her role as UK CFO, Meliha Duymaz will now hold the executive responsibility for Skanska\u2019s work for HS2.<\/p>\n

Dowding added: \u201cI wish Andrew the best for the future and thank him for his contribution leading the infrastructure and HS2 operations.\u201d<\/p>\n
