Sellafield Ltd has named its line-up for a colossal \u00a34.6bn framework aimed at tackling the UK\u2019s most hazardous nuclear clean-up challenges over the next 15 years.<\/p>\n

The new Decommissioning and Nuclear Waste Partnership (DNWP) will deliver the next generation of high-hazard risk reduction programmes on the Cumbrian site, covering retrieval, remediation, and long-term waste management.<\/p>\n

The four-lot deal brings together some of the nuclear sector\u2019s heaviest hitters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Lot 4 \u2013 Integrated Nuclear Waste Partner<\/td>\nA2R<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

DNWP replaces the outgoing Design Services Alliance and Decommissioning Delivery Partnership and will focus on safely retrieving and treating legacy waste from Sellafield\u2019s oldest and most complex facilities.<\/p>\n

Sellafield\u2019s chief supply chain officer James Riddick said the framework lied at the heart of its mission to clean up the UK\u2019s nuclear legacy safely, efficiently, and sustainably.<\/p>\n

Each partner has also signed up to a joint sustainability and social impact plan, which includes apprenticeships, SME engagement, non-profit support, and skills development across Cumbria.<\/p>\n

The contract marks one of the UK\u2019s biggest ever decommissioning partnerships, ensuring continuity of expertise and long-term investment in the region\u2019s nuclear supply chain.<\/p>\n
