Eight school building projects worth over \u00a3270m have moved to the construction phase after the Department for Education signed off contracts for the latest batch of rebuild and refurbishment contracts.<\/p>\n

Kier landed the biggest job \u2014 a \u00a369m rebuild of Upton-by-Chester High School \u2014 underlining its strong pipeline across the DfE\u2019s School Rebuilding Programme.<\/p>\n

Tilbury Douglas secured a trio of wins worth just over \u00a374m for Pershore High School, Applebee Wood Community Specialist School, and East Durham College.<\/p>\n

Bowmer & Kirkland picked up the \u00a344m Gosford Hill School job in Oxfordshire, while Willmott Dixon signed a \u00a335m deal for Barnes School and Hospital on south west London.<\/p>\n

Modular specialist Reds10 also joined the winners\u2019 list with a \u00a320m SEND school in Suffolk.<\/p>\n

The projects will now move into delivery through the DfE\u2019s regional construction frameworks covering all nine English regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
