Mixed-use developer First Base and Patron Capital have selected McLaren Construction for \u00a3120m redevelopment of the former Amex House in Brighton.<\/p>\n

Edward Street Quarter is a mixed-use development that will deliver 170,000 sq ft offices, alongside space for independent coffee shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n

The project will also include 168 new homes, comprising a mix of private and affordable units to meet local demand.<\/p>\n

Demolition of Amex House is complete, with construction set to start in May 2019 with over 1,000 people working on site over the duration of the development.<\/p>\n

Edward Street Quarter masterplan<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The scheme, designed by BuckleyGrayYeoman, is inspired by Brighton\u2019s eclectic street scene and will introduce three new public spaces created by renowned landscape designers Spacehub.<\/p>\n
