Morgan Sindall has just broken ground on a landmark 217,000 sq ft science and innovation building in the heart of Manchester\u2019s Knowledge Quarter.<\/p>\n

Kadans Science Partner is behind the \u00a3100m landmark Plus Ultra Manchester scheme, which is located within the Oxford Road Corridor.<\/p>\n

The scheme forms the centrepiece of the wider \u00a3450m Upper Brook Street masterplan, which includes 490,000 sq ft of mixed-use space with labs, student accommodation and community facilities.<\/p>\n

Sustainability is central to the design, with the building set to be fully electric and targeting BREEAM Excellent, EPC A and WiredScore Gold. It will feature significant rooftop solar, efficient controls, and high-performance fa\u00e7ades.<\/p>\n

Morgan Sindall\u2019s North West area director Steven Gregory added: \u201cThis landmark scheme marks a major step in Manchester\u2019s growth as a centre for life sciences and innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n
