Family run ready-mixed concrete supplier Mix N Lay has gone into administration after falling victim to rising costs after 45 years in business.<\/p>\n

The premises of the Essex based business has now been taken on by established supplier Easymix Concrete UK.<\/p>\n

The deal will see south London firm Easymix take over the Mix N Lay depot in Rainham.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Steve Brown, owner of Easymix said: \u201cMix N Lay is one of the longest standing ready mix companies across east London and Essex and it is sad to see this experienced company fall into administration but for Easymix this as an exciting opportunity to expand our business in what we believe is a fantastic location.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the first things we intend to do is invest in modern plant to secure future growth and improved service to our customers.”<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The deal will widen Easymix\u2019s geographical spread across London and the Home Counties.<\/p>\n

Mix N Lay will now be rebranded as Easymix Concrete East London Limited.<\/p>\n
