{"id":9246,"date":"2025-11-25T07:46:31","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T07:46:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/?p=9246"},"modified":"2025-11-25T07:46:31","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T07:46:31","slug":"conamar-lands-18m-city-of-london-bank-refurb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cita.co.uk\/news\/conamar-lands-18m-city-of-london-bank-refurb\/","title":{"rendered":"Conamar lands \u00a318m City of London bank refurb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hertfordshire based contractor Conamar has landed an \u00a318m deal from Alchemy Asset Management to deliver the speculative refurbishment and decarbonisation of 7-21 Wilson Street in the City of London.<\/p>\n<p>Work is set to start on site in January to transform the former transform the former Arbuthnot Bank and complete in summer 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Conamar will create 36,000 sq ft of best-in-class, sustainably refurbished workspace including a substantial rooftop terrace.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-mpu ad-mpu-inline\">\n<div class=\"sleeve\"><a data-ad-id=\"478038\" href=\"http:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/themes\/constructionenquirer\/adclick.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.creaghconcrete.co.uk%2F%3Futm_source%3Dconstruction-enquirer%26utm_medium%3Dbanner%26utm_campaign%3Dconstructionenq-ads\" target=\"_blank\" onclick=\"track_ad_click(this);\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.constructionenquirer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CE_Creagh.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>A central part of the project will be a new fa\u00e7ade, featuring curved glazing, high-performance stone and terracotta cladding, which will revitalise the building\u2019s presence on Wilson Street.<\/p>\n<p>Conamar is understood to have fought-off competition from RED Construction and Forcia to land the job.<\/p>\n<p>David Hughes, Director, Alchemy Asset Management, said: \u201cWe are delighted to have selected Conamar to deliver this exciting project on behalf of our overseas client.
